Meet the Reaper was a short created by Maxwell Atoms for the Cartoon Network that premiered on June 9, 2000 during Cartoon Cartoon Fridays as one of ten contenders for Cartoon Network's Big Pick, the winner of which would become the next Cartoon Cartoon. Meet the Reaper was the pilot episode for the Cartoon Network original series Grim & Evil which premiered a year later in 2001, as well as its spin-off series in 2003.
Plot[]
Billy and Mandy are paid a visit by the Grim Reaper when he comes to collect the soul of Billy's hamster, Mr. Snuggles. Mandy then makes a bet with him in the form of a game: if Grim loses, he lets them keep Mr. Snuggles AND become their "best friend".
