Truffles is the main character and wife of Mung Daal and is somewhat of a motherly figure to Chowder...when she is not screaming at Mung or threatening to fire Schnitzel.

She is a mushroom pixie, and speaks with a grating voice and unidentifiable accent. She, like many women, is concerned about her weight and appearance and some plots revolve around her attempting to "improve" herself. She can be very demanding but there is clearly a lot of love between her and Mung. She is based on her creator's mother, C.H. Greenblatt's mother, so C.H. Greenblatt's mother would be a strict mother, like regular American mothers. Truffles looks awful when she is sick (The Shopping Spree).
