Transformers Animated is a Cartoon Network Original Series. The series debuted in January of 2008.

The series takes place in Detroit. The 5 Autobots, Optimus, Bumblebee, Prowl, Bulkhead, and Ratchet try to keep the Allspark out of Decepticon hands. The 2nd season involved the Autobots trying to gather the fragments of it. Season 3 is the final battle.

The series was released just to kill time before the new movie came out and they couldn't show Transformers Cybertron anymore.
