Megas XLR was an American animated television series that aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami block. The series was produced by Cartoon Network Studios. It ran from 2004-2005.

The series follows a lazy, yet fun loving, overweight guy named Coop, who finds a giant robot in his friend's junkyard. The robot, named Megas, was actually a weapon built by the Glorft Empire, a race of squid like aliens with bionic suits from the far future. The Glorft aim to use Megas to conquer our world, but luckily it was stolen by the last of the human defense for our world in the future, an agent known as Kiva, who is working for the human rebels accidentally hit the time frequence on it sending her and the Glorft, who were chasing her, into the past. Now its up to Coop, Kiva, and Jamie, Coop's best friend, to stop this alien menace once and for all.
