Personality
Edit
Gorgonzola is likely poor due to the fact that his clothes seem to be a bunch of rags, though he has been shown to have money on one or two occasions. In the episode Froggy Apple Crumble Thumpkin he is seen behind a dumpster as Chowder walks by. He somewhat hates Chowder because he feels as though hes wasting his intellect by being stuck as a candle holder while the dimwitted Chowder gets to be a chef. Gorgonzola enjoys bullying Chowder, however, in the episode The Apprentice Games, Chowder and Gorgonzola are forced into a partnership and come to, if not friendship, at least a cease-fire. He is not that evil, but is very antagonistic towards Chowder. He also keeps a Voodoo Doll of Chowder and deliberately stabs it on some occasions, with the results giving Chowder intense pain. He claimed Chowder was 700 pounds, which Chowder had negotiated. He most likely made a false insult at Chowder because that would mean Chowder is 7 times or even more heavier than an average person. Gorgonzola makes remarks about Chowder's weight a lot (ironically, Gorgonzola himself isn't so skinny, but he isn't quite as large as Chowder). He tends to have a large ego from time to time and tends to be sarcastic a lot. He is the main antagonist of the episode Sniffleball. In Burple Nurples, he got millions of dollops from a nearly-bankrupt Mung Daal to not eat the Burple Nurples that Chowder made. Little did Gorgonzola know that the food was accidentally poisoned.
Gorgonzola also has a large role in the episode Panini for President to serve as Chowder's Vice-President, however, the Apprentice Presidency was never changed because Panini only wanted to run for the politics to have the right for Chowder to be her boyfriend. He also hypnotized Chowder with a lollypop and swirly cinnamon bun, as the two sweets have rolling-over sugar swirls on the food. He ultimately was arrested by the Baby Police for waking up so many babies by the Agency. Somehow, he must've escaped since he was back for Hey, Hey, It's Knishmas.
He was given a nice warm furry sweater from Chowder as a Christmas gift. He was so happy about it he cried (possibly hinting that he really is poor, and that no one had ever given him such a gift).
Gorgonzola as a candleholder is given jobs such as basically being someone's flashlight or being the light in a light pole in broad daylight. It is also said that Gorgonzola wears girls underwear because it's the only kind small enough for him. This probably isn't real due to the fact Chowder doesn't use good reasoning (if you really think about that statement it really doesn't make much sense). Although Gorgonzola reacted to it as if it were true.
