CCSummer Lost Cat

Lost Cat was a short created by David Feiss and produced by David Feiss, Inc. for the Cartoon Network. The short premiered on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays on August 4, 2000 as one of ten contenders for Cartoon Network's Big Pick, the winner of which would become the next Cartoon Cartoon. The short did not win The Big Pick, and was not picked up by Cartoon Network to become a full-length series.

Plot[]

This short follows a cat that wants to find a home. After noticing a lost cat poster he poses as the lost pet so that the cat's real owner will give him a home. He is joined by his two friends George Liberman, the horse and Nancy Mouse.

  • As stated in the opening credits, Lost Cat was based on an idea from David Feiss' ex-wife Pilar Menendez.
  • The creator of Lost Cat, David Feiss, also created Cow and Chicken and I Am Weasel.
  • The short was re-released on the Cartoon Network app as part of the old school Cartoon Network section on April 2020. It was on the What a Cartoon! section.
