Clarence is a Cartoon Network original series that officially premiered on April 14, 2014. The series was created by Skyler Page and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. Page, a former storyboard artist for Adventure Time and storyboard revisionist for Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, developed the series at Cartoon Network Studios in 2012 as part of their animated short development initiative. The pilot aired on February 17, 2014 and was subsequently picked up by the network, whom commissioned twelve 15-minute episodes. The series is rated TV-PG. The series revolves around fourth grader Clarence, a very optimistic and adventerous boy.
