Clarence is a Cartoon Network original series that officially premiered on April 14, 2014. The series was created by Skyler Page and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. Page, a former storyboard artist for Adventure Time and storyboard revisionist for Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, developed the series at Cartoon Network Studios in 2012 as part of their animated short development initiative. The pilot aired on February 17, 2014 and was subsequently picked up by the network, whom commissioned twelve 15-minute episodes. The series is rated TV-PG. The series revolves around fourth grader Clarence, a very happy-go-lucky adventerous boy. The show concluded on June 24, 2018.

  • In the Steven Universe crossover episode, Say Uncle, Clarence's name makes an appearance on a list.
  • Clarence, Jeff, Sumo, and Belson, made guest appearances in the Uncle Grandpa episode, Pizza Eve, along with other characters from current and ended Cartoon Network originals.
  • Clarence and Mary made a cameo in The Amazing World of Gumball episode, The Boredom.
  • Jeff made a cameo in the OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode, Crossover Nexus, where he appears as both stone and one of Ben Tennyson's transformations to defeat Strike, the episode's main antagonist.
  • The series was acknowledged in the Cartoon Network 30th Anniversary video in October 2022.

Video Games[]

Clarence was a playable character in the 2016 console game, Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers, released for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo 3DS, later ported to Nintendo Switch in 2017.

Clarance appears as a boardwalk customer in the mobile Cartoon Network: Match Land.

Clarence's haircut and shirt were featured as clothing in the 2019 mobile game, Kleptocats: Cartoon Network.
