Chowder is the main character and hero of the show, Chowder. He is the young apprentice of the master chef and best friend Mung Daal and his goal is to be a famous chef. But the only problem is that Chowder literally eats anything in sight. Chowder goes on many adventures throughout Marzapan City. His Archenemy Gorgonzola who is a rat and His rival apprentice Panini is in love with him but Chowder hates girls.Throughout his grand adventures in Marzapan City he undergoes 8 year old problems such as hanging out with kids his age. Will this stop him from being a great chef?

Chowder is a purple cat bear rabbit thing who's species is currently just revealed to be a rabbit. Chowder appears as a combination between a cat, a bear, and a rabbit. He always wears his big purple toque that has his name badly written in mustard. His hat covers his puny little ears. He is slightly overweight which is easily noticeable when his shirt is off. He has huge cheeks but yet little feet. Basically Chowder only wears purple like his shirt, shoes and hat. The only tooth visible is a sharp one on the right side of his face. He also has a striped tail similar to a raccoon. He also has an overenlargened belly button with a wig trap inside of it.

We dont know Chowder's real family all we know from recent Chowders is that Mung Dal got Chowder through a catalog. Lovable apprentice or bratty family you decide.
