Cartoon Network XD (formerly Cartoon Network TOO) is a fanmade web channel, which airs a variety of old and new cartoons that have aired on Cartoon Network. The channel aired its first test broadcast on January 15, 2011 at 10am, but the first official broadcast and launch was on January 29, 2011 at 5pm. Since 3/5/2013, Cartoon Network XD no longer is broadcasted by CartoonNetworkRulzz and now it is left playing cartoons unscheduled.

The creator of the web channel, nicknamed on the Internet as BlooMac or CartoonNetworkRulzz is a big fan of Cartoon Network. In December 2010 he saw that one of his friends from YouTube was going to launch his own web channel on Livestream, called Cartoon Nothing. This made the creator insipred to launch his own web channel too, he named it Cartoon Network TOO and planned to air a variety of old and new cartoons, just like the UK channel with the same name since he liked the name and idea of the channel and he wasn't fond that the other countries didn't have the channel, so he considered it to be a worldwide version of Cartoon Network TOO. The reason the channel didn't launch then was because the creator wasn't aware how to broadcast, so he abandoned the idea. Though he later discovered that another friend of him has also launched his own web channel on Livestream, so BlooMac decided to ask him how it works. On the next day (January 15) at 10am, he decided to test the channel by airing a short broadcast. The first show to air was MAD. The next day and the next Saturday and Sunday there were a few more test broadcasts.

Launch and 2011

Cartoon Network TOO was officially launched on January 29, 2011 at 5pm. The first official show to air on the network was the movie Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip.

In the beginning of February a site for the channel was launched, it was made and moderated by a guy, nicknamed Abraxas using In April, the site got its own domain, which was

On April 10, the channel officially changed its logo. Before that, this logo was only used in bumpers and was meant to be a secondary logo.

In May, a Facebook page for the channel was made, it's mostly used to tell and remind the fans when there's a new broadcast.

In August, it was announced that in 2012 Cartoon Network TOO will change its name and that the viewers will pick the new name. They were asked to suggest names and later to vote for the suggested names. The reason the name was decided to be changed was because there were many people that confused the web channel with the UK channel.

On December 31, Cartoon Network TOO aired a special, called "Top 5 of 2011." The viewers were told to share their favorite show from 2011 and the one with the most votes will get a marathon. This was the first viewers' pick marathon.

Cartoon Network XD won the competition and promos for the new name began to air on the channel, even though it was unknown when the name will be changed. In the Facebook page and Vbox7 group, the name was changed shortly after the new name was announced.

Starting March, the domain was closed and became the official domain of the site.

In March, Super Chunk was announced to return on the channel (as it aired once in February and September) and this time the viewers can vote for one of the three requested shows.

On May 7, the site was updated. New sections were added, some old sections were changed or removed.
