Did you know that Warner Bros. Consumer Products used to be the merchandising licensor of Cartoon Network characters, series and brand? It wasn't until 2005 that Cartoon Network decided to establish their own merchandising division. Whereas Warner Bros. Consumer Products continues licensing the classic Hanna-Barbera material such as The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo and Yogi Bear, Cartoon Network Enterprises exclusively licenses their own original library consisting of the likes of The Powerpuff Girls, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Codename: Kids Next Door, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, etc. Both Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. continue sharing merchandising licensing of the CN Originals internationally.

When I found out that Cartoon Network Enterpri…

    Our Goal

October 1, 2016 by Webkinz Mania

    Hello Cartoon Network Wiki,

I am [[User:Webkinz Mania|]], one of the several active administrators here. Over the last few weeks, a hot topic on the site has been a massive Wiki wide cleanup. I asked [[Thread:26806|]] a few weeks ago. A number of people responded and the same sentiment seemed to have been reached.

It has been nearly ten years since the creation of the Wiki. To put it harshly, the site seems to be the garbage dump of information relating to [[Cartoon Network|]]. Information about Thomas and Friends, foods from [[Chowder|]] and every song from [[Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi|]] does not belong here. Neither does plagiarized content from [1] or [2].

For this reason, we are officially heading into a . Slowly but surely, we are going to be …

    Random Question 1

    September 9, 2015 by TheAmazingTurtle

Hey guys. I'm kind of new on this wiki. I post semi-regularly on the Total Drama wiki, but this is my first blog post on this one. I'm really excited. So, what I'm going to do is post random questions every so often, along with other things. So, today's question is:

What is your favorite Cartoon Network show from the 1990's?

Tell me in the comments below. Thanks.

Hello, Cartoon Network fans, this is Concernedalien11780. If you were of youth age at any point between October 1, 1992 and now and owned cable or satellite television, then Cartoon Network has probably affected you in some way or another. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't allowed to really watch it until I was eight. And even then, my mother didn't want me watching most of its shows, especially not Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Weird thing was she preferred both Teen Titans and Codename: Kids Next Door, even though Teen Titans was more consistently violent and KND depicted teens and adults as evil and puberty as a disease (which it sure feels like at times). Nowadays, I understand that kind of parenting better, and think that plenty of Cartoon Network'…

    Cartoon Nutcase

    June 23, 2015 by EliNinja

This Sunday, I was thinking about launching a livestream channel that would air some of Cartoon Network's old shows, along with some modern CN shows on it's lineup.

So, while I was thinkinh about it, I decided to name the channel Boomerang Too, but then I decided to rename it Cartoon Nutcase so that more modern shows can be aired on the channel.

The channel airs some old CN shows such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow & Chicken and Megas XLR, along with modern CN shows like Sym-Bionic Titan, Adventure Time and The Looney Tunes Show (2011).

It currently doesn't have that much on it's lineup, but I will try hard to find episodes of old and new CN shows to put on Cartoon Nutcase. I might even put some old Adult Swim shows like Home Movies or The …

    Cow and Chicken

    June 7, 2015 by Piluchina

You are wrong, Cow and Chicken did not exist as a story before. David got fired from DIC studios and was very depress,I was with him at the studio. He told me Fred Sibert was looking for pilots, I told him at the moment lest create a cartoon character and a pilot. We, together came out with the characters, how they would look and their personality, as we speach I told him do some drawings for the story and one came after another, I did the color to the original story and pilot.  He has the original story board painted by me.We worked together, I told him things like the parents would be half as a joke for the first pilot that we did not have the parents  just yet and like in the movies with low buget, we used a crop or part of the backgrou…

What did you think if Disney would eventually think of getting the rights to use Cartoon Network stuff from Turner, owned by Time Warner, to make a themed land for their parks (like Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida and Disney California Adventure in California) with attractions based on Cartoon Network's popular franchises like a 3D simulator ride based on Adventure Time, a dark ride based on Regular Show, and an outdoor interactive play area based on Over the Garden Wall. What would you think of that idea?

I've been perusing the web lately, and I've recently come across this announcement:

Cartoon Network is releasing a crossover episode of Uncle Grandpa/Steven Universe called "Say Uncle".

Now, once I heard this, I could already tell what everyone was gonna say:

But this reaction is exactly why I'm writing this. I know most CN fans aren't too approving of Uncle Grandpa, and they especially don't want it to cross-contaminate one of the few "good" shows it has.

The thing, though, is that-as a Cartoon Network superfan myself-I don't mind that this is happening.

I'm gonna get so much hate for this, but I honestly don't think this is bad. I'm a huge Steven Universe fa…

    Hello there!

And today, I got a question for you: What if David Feiss (Cow & Chicken creator) and Cartoon Network Studios could someday think of creating two new Cow & Chicken shorts/specials at some point?

In my opinion, if that happens in the future, I came up with few ideas of what I would love to those new Cow & Chicken shorts would be like:

In my head, I'm thinking the first of the Cow & Chicken shorts/specials would be about how Cow and Chicken meet a new student in school who is a tomboy (a design of a tomboy that I would love see to be looked cute, and beautiful like Loulabelle in I Am Weasel and some other beautiful female characters in some of Cow & Chicken episodes) and Chicken however has a secret crush on her. And the second one …

    Future Dexter's Lab special

    November 3, 2014 by 763492

Would that be possible if Cartoon Network would think of celebrating Dexter's Laboratory's 20th anniversary later in 2016 by not only airing the marathon of old Dexter's Lab episodes, but producing a brand new TV special as well.

In my head, I think the special, that Cartoon Network could think of, would be about how Dexter and Dee Dee get sucked back in time to the 90s where they meet their old 90s counterparts. It would be called "Dexter's Laboratory Generation", if that happens at some point. What would you think of that?

    The Irwin Theory

    August 8, 2014 by YoungOtakuNerd

You know how a lot of cartoons have kind of theory behind them that, whether you believe them or not, are kind of convincing? Well, I made one of my own. Although I don't consider it part of my headcanon, it's about The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and goes a little like this...

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy was a pretty dark show, even for Cartoon Network. But have you ever wondered why that is? Well, there's a strange secret behind it.

Irwin, the nerd who's always seen crushing on Mandy and hanging out with Billy, is a real person, and the show is based on his dreams. This is a theory I call, simply, the "Irwin Theory" (not very creative, I know).

Maxwell Atoms tried to hide this from us, and he succeeded for a while. First off, he …

Ya know, I was just thinking: What if Cartoon Cartoon Fridays came back? Then can move new episodes of Adventure Time, Gumball, and Regular Show to the first few time slots, and air reruns of some of the Cartoon Cartoons! Not only will it be a nostalgic change, but a change that'll make airing new episodes easier; Fridays are nights when kids stay up later, so there would be more time for CCF to air. (If we're lucky, they may even cancel [adult swim] on Friday nights...)

Now given what I've said, you're probably wondering, "How could this idea get better?". I've got the answer: air the reboot's premier on the Friday before Halloween.

Because Halloween is one of the best holidays!

I even have some ideas on how it could go down!

    Announcer: They said…

As we all know, many CN bumpers have implied crossovers. These include crossover shipping.

Normally I don't do this sort of thing, but I came up with a little something called "Marcewin".

Otherwise known as "Vampireshipping", it's a couple involving Marceline and Irwin.

You can read more about it here.

Now I wanna here your opinions. Do you ship any CN crossover parings? If so, who?

This is Erica Sakura, signing off.

So... this is my first Cartoon Network wiki blog post, and I'm making a monthly blog post series called Cartoon Network Updates. Yeah, it's as simple as you think.

Okay, first update is that Cartoon Network is moving their popular comedies (Adventure Time, Regular Show, Teen Titans GO!, and The Amazing World of Gumball) into a Thursday night block called "Fresh New Thursdays". Believe me, I hope they don't reuse the words "Fresh" and "New" into the commercials...

My honest opinions on this is that this is a VERY early idea. The ratings for the Monday nights are going so well, apparently! So, The schedule might be Teen Titans GO! at 6pm, Adventure Time at 6:30pm, Regular Show at 7:00pm, and TAWoG at 7:30pm. I don't really like the schedule, lik…

    Ben 10 Takeover

    December 3, 2013 by Notshane

Okay, I know it's okay for Cartoon Network originals to have character articles and episode articles, but I feel like Ben 10 has somewhat overdone it here. I swear you can find every single episode of Ben 10, Alien Force, Ultimate Alien and the current Omniverse right on the spot; with detailed descriptions. Whoever is doing this, I appreciate your contribution but this isn't the Ben 10 Wiki. Or if multiple users are doing this, try to take time to edit other shows too. I know Ben 10 is like the longest running show on Cartoon Network, but that doesn't mean this wiki has to be centered around it. And every character article, I swear this one went too far. There's an article on every single alien species, galaxy or area in that show. This i…

There's been a lot of stuff about whether the cartoons all take place in the same universe or not. I have 2 theories about this.

All cartoons exist in the same universe, though some may be at different times. This renders CN: PTE and PTE XL un-canon.

Adventure Time takes place in the distant future, one made possible by the events of Samurai Jack in which Jack prevents Aku from conquering the universe. However, this conflicts with The Jetsons, though may support the theory that The Jetsons and The Flintstones take place at the same time, the supposed reason for The Jetsons always taking place high in the sky and The Flintstones always on the ground. This also conflicts with the The Jetsons Meet The Flintstones movie.

    Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls…

Well, I've seen some articles on the web that give examples of various mental/personality disorders using the characters. Thus, I've thought about it, and I can see the following disorders in the following characters:

    Character Name Disoder Symptoms Evidence
Daffy Duck Schizophrenia Dillusions, hallucinations, paranoia, etc. Daffy can seem, well, daffy. He's paranoid, not very bright, and somewhat vain. He doesn't think before acting and has a bit of a lisp.
Porky Pig Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Extreme attention to detail, obsession with certain tasks, etc. Porky's awfully clean for a pig, and is definitely quite organized. This is especially noticable in later works.
    Yosemite Sam Antisocial …

I've been thinking, over the concept of shows and leadership.

Sym Bionic Titan was cancelled because it had no merchandise for it, that's pretty lame.. so I have toa sk myself, would Jim Samples have let it continue? My guess is yes, my other wondering is this, why the live action?

It had no merchanidise for it, yet it all continued, I'm also guessing that when it comes to cartoons merchandising is all expected, that's pretty cheap, underhanded even. All in all, I blame Snyder.
