Atomic Betty is a Canadian-French animated television series produced by Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, and Tele Images Kids. Additional funding for production is provided by Teletoon in Canada and M6 and Télétoon in France. It currently airs on CITV in the U.K. since 2007. The series has once again begun airing on U.S. TV on The Hub on October 10, 2010; it previously aired on Cartoon Network from September 17, 2004 through December 31, 2005.
The series' last episode aired on January 25, 2008 on Teletoon, and on January 7, 2011 on The Hub.
Cartoon Network has a contract with Atomic Cartoons & Teletoon to show Atomic Betty, which still exists in some parts of the world since it doesn't air on the U.S. or U.K. versions of the channel anymore. An upcoming revival of the pre-teen format show itself with an additional 4 seasons spanning 26 half-hour shows and 1 full-hour special each is in progress from Atomic Cartoons, since Atomic Betty Redux was temporarily delayed. This features Betty in her more-tomboyish normal look wearing her new casual outfit.
