Acme Hour

CN era(s)

Acme Hour (known as Acme Radio Hour from 1995-1997) is a former hour long Cartoon Network programming block that aired from 1995 to 2003. The block featured a compilation of various Warner Bros., MGM, Jay Ward and Walter Lantz cartoons including Looney Tunes, Popeye the Sailor, Felix the Cat, Tom and Jerry and Betty Boop.

The block aired for an hour (as per its title) on weekdays. However, on Saturdays, it would air late at night for two hours, often airing cartoons that would never be broadcast in the daytime due to content. The block was originally named Acme Radio Hour when it premiered in 1995, but was changed to Acme Hour when Cartoon Network's Powerhouse era began in 1997. This was ended the Acme Hour by summer of 2003.

Starting in 2005, Boomerang began airing Acme Hour every day but it has since been removed from the schedule.
